AGITATE:21C was initiated by Michael Woods in Los Angeles, USA, on 25 June 2019. In only a month the project has has become a kind of online happening, spontaneously gathering over 300 members: film-makers, artists, writers, musicians, curators, organisers, and other lovers of alternative arts from around the world.
From the start the aim has been to expand activities into physical spaces internationally. Now a collection of members and their supporters have formed a locus of group energy in Scotland. Their first creation is a 30-second video introducing our world-wide project via that medium. It was made by the Scottish duo of Sarahjane Swan and Roger Simian, aka Avant Kinema.
